This is very cute. It makes me feel strangely fuzzy and warm, I think I like that.
I'm very fond of the spiders dangling from his hair, and although the eyes are blank his face is still full of expression. The image is simplistic but it still looks well rendered. The thumbnail caught my eye mainly because it stood out amongst the most recent deviations.
The only critique I have is that shading could be better. It looks as if you used the burn tool (forgive me if I'm wrong), when shading you mind find that you achieve better results through using the paintbrush. Though, it's really about what works for you.
What did you use to create the sparkles coming from the tip of the wand? This picture is adorable, keep up the good work!
